Nestled in the heart of the Banhoek Valley just outside Stellenbosch, you will find the treasure that is Zorgvliet. Once there, you will be awed by
the breathtakingly spectacular views of the Simonsberg Mountains and surrounding vineyards. Your wedding pictures will afford you timeless memories and the day itself will never be forgotten by all who attended it.
Built in 1732, a delightful little chapel graces the vineyard-covered slopes, with horses grazing meters from the entrance.
With its elegant look and rustic feel, the chapel will accommodate all your friends and family while they witness your special union.

PLANNING YOUR DAY
Correspondence between us will allow us to assess your individual needs and preferences.
Recommendations will then be made, followed by a proposal and the presentation of a suggested budget.
On acceptance, we will work closely with you to plan your special day.

Referrals to high profile, professional, yet reasonably priced service providers
Menu compilation and the selection of suitable wines – specifying brands, cultivars and vintages . Optional sample tastings are also included.
If necessary, a feedback meeting after the wedding in order to wrap up the event
On your wedding day, Andéle Burger, our venue manager, will be present to oversee and coordinate the execution of all arrangements to ensure that the event is an enjoyable experience for you, your family and friends.
SPECIFICATIONS
VENUE HIRE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
- Use of the venue up until midnight (overtime can be arranged at an extra cost)
- Basic cutlery and crockery for 120 guests
- Old chapel with wooden pews (seats 120 maximum)
- Small Oak Room with patio area. This is the perfect lunch/pre-drinks venue (this venue can seat up to 70 guests inside.
It has big concertina doors that open onto the veranda with incredible mountain views).
No loud music/dancing allowed in this area.
- Oak Room- main reception area, this is a beautiful venue with its dark wooden floors, chandeliers, and huge glass windows
overlooking the mountains and vineyards. This room can accommodate 150 guests with a dance floor.
- Shuttle Service- transporting guests from the reception area to the chapel and back to the reception area after
the service has taken place.
